Witness the famous “Cocao-rina Dance” which is a Fond Doux Eco Resort exclusive experience and then receive hands-on training in making your very own chocolate bars with our chocolatiers!

Immerse yourself in a Garden of Eden at Fond Doux Eco Resort where fresh fruit literally falls from the trees. Your guide will show you our wide range of organic tropical fruits (like bananas, mangoes, apricots, grapefruit, love apples, guavas, start fruits and more), flowers, plants, vegetables, and spices—some of which you might be able to sample during the tour (dependent on the season). Tropical birds including rare and endemic species flit between boughs overhead so have your cameras ready.

Discover St. Lucia’s best view of Petit Piton via the Petit Piton Trail at Fond Doux Eco Resort. Petit Piton is one of the world-famous, UNESCO World Heritage twin mountainous volcanic plugs, located in Soufriere, St. Lucia. This guided hike will regale you with Piton facts and Taino (Amerindian) heritage & lore. The well-maintained trail weaves through tropical forest and climbs to approximately 1400 ft. above sea level. Throughout the hike enjoy tropical birds, flora, and other fauna native to the island of St. Lucia. The magnificent view of Petit Piton midway through the hike provides once-in-a-lifetime photo opportunities!

Fond Doux Historical Park
St. Lucia’s history is awash with battles between the colonial powers of Britain and France. One of the most famous battles, the Battle of Rabot, took place in 1795 in the area today known as Fond Doux and Rabot Estate. The results of this battle brought about a year of freedom for the enslaved, officially known as l’Année de Libérté. Take our guided tour to fortification ruins to learn more not only about the Battle of Rabot but also plantation life, the resistance of the enslaved, and the famous heroine Flore Bois Gaillard, a runaway enslaved woman who led a band of freed peoples and was instrumental in the battle’s outcome.

Free Beach Shuttle
Fond Doux provides guests with the best of both worlds: the privacy and relaxation of the rainforest with access to the white sand beach. A St. Lucia vacation isn’t complete without a dip in the Caribbean Sea, which is why we have a free beach shuttle service available to all guests.
Our beach shuttle goes to Sugar Beach, a pristine white sand beach in Soufriere a short 15-minute drive away. Our private shuttle leaves daily at 11am with pickup at 3pm.
