Packing List
Bring lightweight, cotton or linen clothing, sun protection, and your favorite swimwear to enjoy our cascading pools and the nearby beach. Pack for a tropical rainforest environment, and the appropriate gear for any hikes you intend to do.
In addition, all of our cottages and rooms have A/C to keep you comfortable indoors.

Expectations for Tipping
Restaurant and meal plan prices at Fond Doux Eco Resort are subject to a 10% service charge and 7% VAT.
Other establishments will also automatically add a 10% service charge to your bill, so it’s a good idea to review your receipt.
Cards vs. Cash
Major credit cards like Visa and Mastercard are widely accepted, although it’s often helpful to have some cash on hand for smaller purchases, taxis, or bus fares. For American Express, it’s important to note that most places in St. Lucia do not accept it.

The estate spans 135 acres and is family-owned and operated by the Lamontagne family, offering 25 beautifully restored cottages and an ideal base for discovering the southwest coast of St. Lucia.
Guests can experience everything from exploring the estate’s grounds, amenities, tours, and classes to discovering Soufrière and the surrounding attractions, while enjoying farm-to-table meals throughout the day at our on-site restaurant.
