Is there Wi-Fi at the resort?
Complimentary Wi-Fi is available throughout the resort, including all accommodations, reception, 5 Fingers Restaurant, the Chocolate Lab, the gym, and the pool area.
Is housekeeping included?
Yes. Housekeeping is provided, and extra towels, bedding, and wake up calls can be requested at any time.
What sustainability measures are in place?
The estate is certified organic and a Green Globe member. Water is solar heated, lights are energy efficient, and the toilets are low flow. Single use plastic toiletries have been replaced with refillable dispensers, reusable bottles are in every cottage, and styrofoam takeaway items have been swapped for biodegradable ones.
Do you have a beach?
The resort is inland, on the estate. We run a complimentary shuttle from the resort to Sugar Beach.
Is there a shop?
Two. Plas Cacao is our chocolate shop, and the gift shop is stocked with goods from local suppliers as part of our sustainability commitment.
Is there a gym?
The Fond Doux Fitness Center has cardio equipment, resistance machines, and free weights, surrounded by large windows that look out onto tropical greenery.
Can non guests use the spa?
No. The spa caters exclusively to resort guests, which is part of how we keep the atmosphere calm.
Is there a spa?
Mama La Terre Spa is tucked into one of the quietest corners of the estate, framed by cacao groves and gardens of tropical flowers and fruit trees. Every product used in treatments is made from all natural, organically grown ingredients.
What is around the pools?
Around the pools, you’ll find rainforest hardwood loungers, bathrooms and showers, and a poolside library stocked with books and board games. If you want a drink or a light snack, pick up the poolside telephone and we will bring it out to you.
What pools are there?
Two. The cascading pools sit at the heart of the resort as three interconnected basins between 13 and 15 feet across, each looking out over mountain scenery. The infinity pool is our newest addition, just steps from 5 Fingers Restaurant, with sweeping views across the estate.
