What is around the pools?

Around the pools, you’ll find rainforest hardwood loungers, bathrooms and showers, and a poolside library stocked with books and board games. If you want a drink or a light snack, pick up the poolside telephone and we will bring it out to you.

What pools are there?

Two. The cascading pools sit at the heart of the resort as three interconnected basins between 13 and 15 feet across, each looking out over mountain scenery. The infinity pool is our newest addition, just steps from 5 Fingers Restaurant, with sweeping views across the estate.

What is there to see nearby?

Soufrière puts you within easy reach of Sulphur Springs, the world’s only drive in volcano, Diamond Falls Botanical Gardens, ziplining at Morne Coubaril, the En Bas Saut Rainforest Trail, horseback riding, snorkeling along the coast, the Anse La Raye Fish Fry, and sunset cruises past the Pitons.

Is Fond Doux good for birdwatching?

St. Lucia has 177 recorded bird species and many can be seen on the estate. Guests spot the Hen Harrier, Black Hawk, American Kestrel, Green Heron, Mangrove Cuckoo and the St. Lucia Pewee, along with pigeons, doves, and parrots. You are free to wander the grounds and look.
